From starting a blog to graduating university a lot really can happen in the space of 12 months.
This year has been a lot of ups and downs and I am so grateful to have such a strong support system around me. Blogging has become a passion of mine and has put me in the perfect mindset to drive forward in full force towards my career. After discovering this Ban.do planner online I couldn’t stop thinking about how amazing it would be to have this little beauty in my life. The Paperchase concession stand in Fenwick Newcastle was where I found this brand of L.A lifestyle and organisers once again.
“Powered by friendship, the good old days and all things fun” is this sunshine based brand’s moto, and a pretty good one if you ask me. From August ’18 to September ’19, the 13 month planner is ideal for instant organisation. Three pages of stickers, a handy back-page pocket and some inspiring words hitting the pages this ‘Going Places’ planner has changed my life already. I would highly recommend to all you bloggers and uber-organised people like me. For £20 or £18 (hello student discount) it is well worth the investment.
With going back to uni for my masters next month I am in need of some updated household items. With a store opening up so close to me last year, Oliver Bonas has been visited regularly. From cute little leather card holders to fresh candles, OB has you covered. This Oliver Bonas mug was no exception, with it catching my eye as I walked into the store. Its vibrant orange colour and engraved classic OB print was a perfect addition to my uni mug collection. A bargain to say the least when this gorgeous coffee drinking apparatus was in the sale for…£3.50!! An absolute steal this was from the original price of £12.
Students alike will know the early morning trips to the library or to lectures at 9am all too well. Coffee is something which we really couldn’t live without and being millennials, we are all about the bamboo reusable coffee cups. Another excellently priced item I bagged myself this week was this water carrier. Gentleman’s Hardware is a brand created around the modern day gent. Not being a gent, surprisingly enough didn’t stop me buying this vintage water bottle. TK Maxx had this stunning stainless steal bottle priced at £7.99 which is approx. half the price I have seen it for online. I was delighted to read reviews of others putting their coffee in this bottle in the morning and by lunch time swapping their caffeine fuel for H20.
Beauty bloggers you have inspired me for this next one. Shopping for my usual powder over at the Revlon stand (Colourstay Pressed Powder, for those wondering) in my local drugstore I took full advantage of their offer of 3 for 2. I purchased my powder along with a lipstick for my mum and thought I would try the new Ultra HD Gel Colour lipstick that I have seen coming up on my feed a lot by beauty bloggers. Liking the look and sound of this hydrating lip-locker I chose the shade 710 HD Desert. It’s silky application strokes your lips giving you a ‘popping’ colour. As we begin to enter the autumnal months and say goodbye to summer, a little bit of colour is in order to show off those fading tans for a little while longer.
